In clickBACON, you can add, delete, or modify line items within an invoice.

Add or Delete a Line Item

You may need to add line items if a particular line was not extracted, something was grouped together but should be separate, or if you've switched from a summary to detailed invoice.  

Scroll down to the DETAILED INVOICE section and click the green + button to add a new line or the trashcan to delete a line.

Modify a Line Item

• Item Code
  You can update the item code, but proceed with caution. Changing the code may affect reporting or create duplicate items.
  
  

• Account
  Select a different GL Account if you need the expense posted elsewhere.
  
  

• Description
  Updating the description will also change it for all future invoices that contain the same item code.
  
  

• Quantity, Rate, and Amount
  The following fields are linked together.

  • Changing Quantity updates the Amount.
    

  • Changing the Rate updates the Amount.
    

  • Changing the Amount updates the Rate.
