When clickBACON connects to your R365 account, we import your GL account list automatically.


Why GL Accounts Must Match Exactly

With R365, GL account names must be an exact match. If a document is pushed with any difference (a misspelling, capitalization change, or spacing) the document will fail.  


For this reason:

  • You cannot edit or add GL accounts in clickBACON.
  • All new GL accounts must be created in R365 first.
  • Once added in R365, GL accounts will sync with clickBACON daily.


Adding an Account on the Fly

If you need to add an account quickly:

  1. Create the new account in R365.
  2. Return to clickBACON.
  3. From either your GL account list or within the document you are processing, refresh your GL accounts list
  4. The new account will appear and can now be used.


This process keeps your GL accounts aligned with R365 and prevents document failures caused by mismatched account names.
