This is a step by step guide on how to on how to manage the daily sales on your account!

  1. To enter daily sales, look at the left corner of the screen. There you can see the “Transactions” option. Once you hover over it, the “Sales”, “Purchases”, “Labor” and “Inventory” options are displayed. Click on the "Transactions" option or "Sales" to go directly to the page. (Skip to step 4 if you clicked on "Sales" directly.)

  2. You will then be redirected to the transactions calendar. To enter a new sale, select the next day from the previous date.

  3. Then you will be presented with 3 options, “Purchase”, “Sales” and “Labor”. Click on “Sales”.

  4. On the Sales page, you can see a list of all your sales. Here you can also add and edit them. To add a new sale click the green “+” button (see below).

  5. Then you will be redirected to the “Add Sale” page. Here you can enter the date and the amount of sales for each category. In this example, the sales for 5/4/2017 are $100 for food and $100 for beverages. (NOTE: Please make sure the date entered is correct and that the sale amounts are for that specified date.)

  6. Scroll down the page and you will see entry boxes for the amount of people who dined, in the example 50 people dined in “Test 1” which totals up to $175 while 20 people dined in “Test 2” for $25. The average sale amount per person is calculated automatically. (NOTE: Departments must be setup first to be able to specify these values. See the "Turn on Sales by Department" guide on how to setup departments.)

  7. Next, click on “Save” to add the sale. (NOTE: The totals for both categories and departments must be the same so the sale can be saved properly.)

  8. You can also edit or delete existing sales by clicking on the options button (see below). Choosing delete will remove that vendor from the list. Choosing edit will redirect you to the “Edit Sale” page which has the same options for adding a sale (refer to steps 3-5).

  9. Use the “Search” button to look for a specific sale. Click on the small magnifying glass button on the top left section of the Sales page.
